The Benefits Of Green Tea

Many health products use extracts of green tea in their formulation; although primarily known for the benefits it provides as an antioxidant, it has many other positive health properties. People requiring a natural product to burn calories will not find anything to compare with green tea weight loss supplements.

It has a wide range of benefits for the human metabolism but first and foremost, it has great anti-aging properties, accelerating cell regeneration and slowing the oxidation process in the system. With weight loss however, both the laxative effects and anti-oxidant abilities are used to help improve the metabolism. The product increases the metabolic rate and the number of calories burnt so less fatty tissue forms.

Food For The Organic And Natural Lifestyle

There really is no getting away from artificial flavoring. The last I heard, they were using artificial colors to turn processed ham pink. Being in the pink of health acquired a new meaning with that revelation. Should we really steer clear of artificial foods and flavors in all their forms? For years we have been hearing complaints about the deteriorating quality of the food we eat. Most often, this deterioration has been attributed to their chemical content. This raises one question: is it possible to live life in a completely organic way?

Nutrition - Desserts

Eating a healthy dessert doesn’t have to break the bank. While it’s true that Twinkies and Ding-Dongs do cost less (in dollars) than quality healthy foods, the cost to our health is truly frightening!

Follow these tips for low-cost healthy desserts:

1) Try fruit! Full of natural sugars, and naturally fat free, fruit is a great dessert choice! Fresh kiwi, apples, pears, plums and oranges can all be found for about 50 cents per serving.

2) Fat-free pudding costs only 79 cents per box and is quite low in calories!

Weight Loss Using Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil - Use It Externally

In support of other points of view, Coconut Oil is one of the best products available. You can obtain the maximum benefit of Coconut Oil when applied topically.

Let’s face it, Coconut Oil does not taste that great. You can use it in place of butter and in salad dressings in place of other oils but, it has a heavy taste and may not be appreciated by the taste pallet. In addition to using it externally, getting used to using Coconut Oil internally will be most beneficial to your Weight Loss regimen. It will seem as if the extra subcutaneous tissue is just melting away. You will notice a favorable difference by the external use of Coconut Oil.

For The Love Of Italian Food – Pasta And Cauliflower Recipe

Mangia! Mangia! I just can’t get enough of the great taste of Italian foods. Italian pasta, pizza, pork, beef and seafood recipes are much a part of my everyday life.

Growing up Italian in Chicago has been a wonderful culinary experience to say the least. The many different restaurants and families from different regions of Italy allowed me to taste some of the most delicious food in the world.

Food always conjures up great memories. When I cook something I haven’t had in a while, it always seems to bring me back to the last time and place I did have it. I think it’s the closest thing to a “time machine” we’ll ever experience.

Making Gourmet Chocolates Yourself

A few weeks ago I thought it would be a good idea to make some gourmet food for a party I was going to arrange. Well I put on my chefs hat and finished up making some truffles, and wow, my friends thought they were fantastic and actually thought that they were gourmet chocolates that I had bought from a quality gourmet food store.

I would like to point out that making gourmet chocolates for yourself is difficult and will take a lot of time, however to be positive it does give you the opportunity to try out some recipes that you probably could not get from the local store.

Shredded Beef From My Crock-pot To Yours

This is the easiest recipe ever and really quite versatile. Many of my simple recipes require a crock pot so make the investment now and you’ll feel like you hired a personal chef. I love opening up my front door to the smell of a fresh cooked meal at the end of the day. This one takes less than 5 minutes before you head out in the morning and then a moment or two of shredding before serving.

My kids are picky eaters and they love this one. My husband is fine with left-overs but for those who aren’t so lucky, the multiple uses for this meat will please even the biggest leftover snob!

Delicious Oolong Tea Blends

If you’re ready for something a little different at tea time, try a flavored oolong tea. Many Westerners have not experienced the delicious flavor of oolong tea in any form. With a different flavor than black, green or white teas, oolongs are a rare treat. When paired with another flavor, oolong teas are quite exceptional.

Oolong tea is very popular in Asia. It was first created in China and is still considered China’s national tea. In the West, however, it is one of the least familiar tea varieties.
