Why Hogan Hated Carnoustie

Players referred to it as “Carnasty” in 1999, the last time the British Open was held there. Jack Nicklaus called it the “hardest of all championship venues.” Experts say it’s among the toughest links course in the world, if not the toughest. This week the world’s greatest golfers return to Carnoustie Championship Course to play the 2007 British Open. Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Pool

Billiards is played on a pool table with six pockets and fifteen pool balls. Pool balls are divided into two categories, solid and striped, with one white ball and one black ball. The object of the game is to use your pool cue to hit the white ball in order to knock your balls into the pockets of the table. If you have the solid balls, then you try to hit only the solid balls. Once you have all your balls in the pockets you then hit the black 8 ball into the pocket and you’ve won the game! Sounds pretty easy, right?

On any and every event, gymnasts and coaches need to understand where the danger points of each skill are and plan for the possibility of falls. Indeed, it is a good idea to practice the falls so that the experience of falling is not alien, unexpected and totally new.

Better Health Leads To Greater Happiness

Just as setting small and attainable goals are the building blocks for achieving success; living a lifestyle of making good health choices leads to greater and more sustainable happiness.

The cliché “You are what you eat” does resonate with pieces of truth and common sense. There have been several health and fitness studies over the years that suggest people who are overweight, smoke and drink excessively have a predisposition to experience more bouts of depression than people who live a more moderate lifestyle in these areas.

Differences Between Canadian And American Football

American and Canadian football both descended from rugby and began in Canada as a game played between British soldiers garrisoned in Montreal. The soldiers played a series of games against students at McGill University. McGill played several games against Harvard in 1874 and a tradition was born. Despite their mutual origins, the Canadian and the American game developed differently and now have substantially different rules and regulations.

Fishing Sports Recreation

We all love fishing sports recreation and in keeping with the theme I have heard so many good fishing jokes that I thought I would share some of these with you.

The first one goes like this:
An old man goes out onto the ice and cuts a hole in it and throws in a line. He is there for nearly an hour and catches nothing. Then a younger boy comes out onto the ice and cuts a hole in it not too far away from the old man and throws in a line. Inside of one minute a Largemouth Bass has hooked himself onto the line and the boy drags it in. The old man cannot believe the boys luck and continues to fish.

Which rookies will have the biggest impact on the field in 2007? The Football Fanatics gives you the answers right here. This is our prediction for the top six (everybody does top five so I wanted to be different) defensive rookies who will have the greatest impact this upcoming season.

1. Patrick Willis, LB, San Francisco 49ers: Willis has a chance to become the fifth consecutive linebacker to win NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. The former Ole Miss standout is a team leader on and off the field. He can play inside or out and is very athletic and strong. Is solid against the run and pass. He’s a hard worker who will play hurt. Everything you want in a linebacker. Has Hall of Fame potential.
