Creating A Legacy

This past year has proven my grandparents, being 78 and 86, are truly reaching their later years of life. With my grandfather’s progressive Alzheimer’s and my grandmothers recent bot with lung cancer, I realize how fragile their life is and more importantly how much my family is in denial.

No one wants to accept that they are getting older or that this may be in fact the last year we spend a holiday together, and understandably so. But while everyone else is worried about what is going to happen to their estate I began to think of all of the precious memories we had together. Memories that left an imprint within my heart and a legacy that cannot be replaced.
