Rss Feeds - Content Reliability

Websites have become very sophisticated and the demand for quality content is systematically increasing. Consumers have become very demanding in terms of the knowledge-based content an online business has available on their site.

One of the ways you can add new content to your site in a way that is potentially hands free is through the use of a third party Real Simple Syndication (RSS) feed.

In most cases you will need permission to do what I am about to suggest, but you will also find some resources that see this idea as a marketing boon for their online business and offer it without the need to ask.

Best Podcasting - How To Become Great At It

Podcasting has conquered the world of media and technology – it’s fast, efficient, and delivers the goods in the best quality! iPod owders are able to receive audio clips about almost anything in a jiffy – be it related to academics, for wholesome fun, or even for political bickering. And the portability is a big plus. Instead of lugging around a laptop and finding a wireless network to connect to the internet, any person can just listen on his earphones while jogging, resting or eating out.

Godcasting Uplifts Your Congregation And Is Easier Than You Think!

When our church first decided to venture into the world of podcasting last year, the process seemed daunting. We had only ventured into multimedia development a little bit – mostly in recording and burning our sermons to CD. The internet, however, and things such as podcasting, seemed completely foreign to us.

Our friends in other congregations who already had podcasts running kept extolling how wonderful the technology was, and how it enabled them to get the message out for a relatively low cost. When our neighbors showed us that they were getting weekly updates from every church in the area apart from ours, we made the decision to make the leap as well (no, there isn’t any sense of competitiveness here. Certainly not!)

Best Podcasting

Podcasts make it possible for iPod owners to receive broadcasted audio clips from all over the world. With podcasting the iPod becomes a mobile MP3 player that does not need to store anything. It can simply download the audio from the internet and become a radio. This sort of broadcasting combines the high compression audio formats like MP3 with the portability of devices like Apple’s iPod. Though the term podcasting has come to be associated with iPods it can be used by others as well because the term applies more to the action of broadcasting rather than the device that is receiving the podcast. You have to subscribe to podcasting servers in order to receive podcasts. Most podcasts use minimal commercials and they are mostly about music or chats. The best about podcasts is that unlike radio you can pause, rewind, or fast-forward anytime you want. This is something you cannot do with a radio. This means you can continue your other activities if they are more important than listening to the podcast and come back to it whenever you are free.

Choosing A Microphone For Podcasting

If you’re reading this article then I don’t suppose I have to tell you that in recent years there has been a massive rise in the number of voice-overs for internet purposes such as Podcasts, You-tube etc and the quality of these is often poor. This is pretty unforgivable nowadays, given the low cost of good quality microphones and improvements in sound card technology.

Microphone Choice
To get a good voice recording you don’t need to spend a fortune on a microphone for this type of work. You can use any type i.e. Dynamic, Ribbon, Condenser or Electret since the frequency range of the human voice is not that great and normally you’ll be positioning the microphone fairly close to the person doing the commentary, so microphone sensitivity is not an issue.
